July 4th Fireworks at Lynn Creek Park
Friday, July 4th, experience an exciting fireworks display over Joe Pool Lake in Lynn Creek Park. The entry fee is $15 per vehicle with up to six passengers ($2 each for additional passengers).

Guitars & BBQ - at Prairie Lakes in July
Friday nights July 11 - Aug 1 enjoy live music beginning at 7:30pm at the Prairie Lakes Pavilion. Different bands are featured every Friday from Texas music and song writers to the familiar sounds of good ole classic rock!

The music is FREE and Eddlemons BBQ will be available for purchase. Come hungry and ready to rock!

BlazeSports is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that advances the lives of youth and adults with physical disability through sport and healthy lifestyles. The Grand Prairie Parks and Recreation Dept. now offers programming in adaptave golf and swimming.

We're Creating a Grand Lifestyle for Dogs too!!

Over 500 dogs came out during the Grand Opening of Grand Prairie's brand-new, first-ever, off-the-leash dog park, Central Bark. The ceremony and special events were held on Saturday, April 21 along with Spring Fling 3. Now that the park is open, bring your canine companion out to run and play in designated areas for both large and small dogs from sun-up to sun-down. We want you and your dog to have a fun and safe time, so make sure you check out the rules prior to visiting the park. You can also check out www.pawpalsofgrandprairie.org for more information.
