The purpose of this event is to pay tribute to those people, groups and organizations who have given of their time, talents, or money to assist in the growth and enhancement of the Grand Prairie Parks and Recreation Department. We have an annual banquet where the inductees are honored and two scholarships are given out.

The scholarships are awarded to two Grand Prairie students who are committed to the service in the area of parks, recreation, kinesiology, leisure services or the arts. There are also silent and live auctions to raise money to go towards next year’s scholarship winners.
